Getting Started
Creating an account is free and takes less than five minutes. Visit our website or download the app, click "Get Started", and follow the on-screen prompts. You'll need to provide a valid email address and phone number, then complete identity verification (KYC) by uploading a government-issued ID. Once verified, you can start exchanging immediately.
For individual accounts, we accept a valid National ID, International Passport, or Driver's Licence. You will also need to provide a selfie for liveness checks. For business accounts, additional documentation including your CAC registration certificate, BVN, and proof of address are required.
Most personal accounts are verified automatically within minutes using our automated identity verification system. In some cases where manual review is needed, this can take up to 24 hours. Business account verification typically takes 1–3 business days. You will receive an email and SMS notification once your account is approved.
Exchange & Rates
QuickX currently supports exchanges between Nigerian Naira (NGN), Philippine Peso (PHP), US Dollar (USD), Tether (USDT), and Bitcoin (BTC). You can exchange any of these currencies to any other supported currency. We are continuously working to add more currency pairs.
Our rates are sourced in real time from multiple institutional liquidity providers and aggregated to give you a rate that closely tracks the mid-market rate. The rate displayed on the platform at the time you confirm your exchange is the rate you will receive — it is locked in for a short window (typically 30 seconds) while you complete the transaction.
No. We show you exactly what you'll pay and exactly what the recipient will receive before you confirm any transaction. Our fee structure is simple: a small percentage spread on the exchange rate, and in some cases a flat transfer fee depending on the destination. Both are clearly itemised on the confirmation screen.
Minimum exchange amounts vary by currency pair but generally start from ₦5,000 / $10 equivalent. Maximum limits depend on your account tier — standard accounts can exchange up to ₦5,000,000 per transaction, while verified business accounts have higher or custom limits. Contact our team to discuss higher volume needs.
Payouts & Delivery
Most transfers to Nigerian bank accounts are completed within 5–15 minutes. Philippine Peso deliveries typically take 30 minutes to 2 hours. USD transfers to US bank accounts are completed within 1–2 business days via ACH. Crypto payouts (USDT, BTC) depend on network congestion but usually arrive within 15–60 minutes. You will receive real-time status updates via email and SMS.
Bulk payout lets you send exchanged funds to multiple recipients in a single operation. You upload a CSV or Excel file containing recipient names, account numbers, bank details, and amounts. QuickX validates each row, shows you a summary of total amounts and fees, and then processes all transfers simultaneously once you approve. You can track delivery status for each individual recipient from your dashboard.
If a transfer fails for any reason (incorrect account details, bank-side rejection, etc.), the exchanged funds are returned to your QuickX wallet balance immediately. You will be notified via email and SMS with the reason for failure. You can then correct the recipient details and retry the transfer, or request a full refund to your source account.
Security & Compliance
QuickX operates in compliance with applicable financial regulations and maintains robust AML and KYC procedures as required by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines. We work with qualified legal and compliance professionals to ensure our operations meet all applicable standards.
Customer funds held on the platform are kept in segregated accounts separate from QuickX's operational funds. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 and TLS 1.3. Our platform undergoes periodic third-party security audits and continuous monitoring.
Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication in your QuickX account. You can enable 2FA using an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) or SMS OTP. We strongly recommend using an authenticator app for better security. 2FA is required for all withdrawals and account changes.
Account & Billing
Yes. You can register a personal account and separately apply for a business account under a registered business entity. Both accounts can be accessed from the same login, and each maintains its own transaction history and balance. Business accounts have higher limits and access to additional features like bulk payouts and API integration.
Your full transaction history is available in your QuickX dashboard under the "Transactions" section. Each completed exchange includes a downloadable PDF receipt. You can also export your history as a CSV file for accounting purposes.
